U application

Paperwork again...

Seriously, I had a very BAD experience with paperwork, that's y I keep procrastinating until the last minute, especially dossier......but the last minute is arrived, and I had to do my dossier after all...

Have to go back to my school everyday to find the MIA headmaster (until the guard get familiar with me), but seriously, my school really changed a lot, a new signboard, a new office for lecturers, new canteen, and..and.. A NEW BASKETBALL COURT (in the place student used to have their *perhimpunan* in front)... maybe this new headmaster (which happened to be a Monash U graduate) is really something...

BUT THAT CANNOT EXPLAIN WHY HE IS MIA ALL THE TIME

After the dossier is done, I enjoyed the short-lived happiness (for around 2 hours) and notice the bigger problem - U application

.I had a few things in mind

1. Should I send the application online or paper?
-Sending application online is secure, unlike post via mail which poses a certain risk. (though the percentage of accident is quite low, there's a chance my application would somehow flew away to the great atlantic ocean in the midst of travelling to US, or worse, the plane might get attacked by terrorists in the way... ==(am I thinking too much))

Then application through online should be safe, but the problem is credit card..

OMG, i am just 18( but my account is still labeled as kid) , and I don't think I would go through all process to make an account, applying a credit card, and bla..bla.. I could have asked my cousin (which happened to be the poorest engineer ever) to borrow his card, but the fee is 150 USD (which can be 600 bucks, not to mention kian hui asked for my help, and the fee could reached 250USD, which means thousand buck

faint..

And I understand "how easy" to get the 150usd from jpa...

2. SAT and TOEFL
All of sudden, purdue kicks away mechanical engineer, all of sudden, I found out that the U i applied is worse, all of sudden...

I REALIZED I HAD TO RESEND THOSE SCORES...

and means another few ten bucks USD...

3.Essays
I hate essay, esp essay that asked "why u choose us", "what can we offer", bla bla bla , and all those essays that asked "tell urself more" when I have no clue what to write.

Actually those essays can be easily answered, but the answer will guarantee u a 100% disqualification...

Why choose our university
Because MIT doesn't accept me, and ur U is in Jpa list lor

What can we offer to help u bla...
engineer course la, wat else,?

Tell urself more
malaysian, currently study in INTEC, passed ur University minimum requirement, wat else u want to know? My girlfren preference?

Of course these type of crap will get u nowhere, but I wonder sometimes, why they bother asking people to praise their own University..

grrrr....
