(Caution: Please be reminded that this post is not meant for any people, any coincidence is just a coincidence)
Seeing a newly formed couples walking in street together, hands holding together and walked as if they are in their own world…
Seeing a few people that craved for love from people they in love and ended up rejected.
Seeing a few persons that is in doubt to take their first move.
And last but not least, a few persons that are bothered by “rumors of love” that they didn’t involve at all.
Whatever it is, surely this is another storm of love brewing in this humble college of INTEC, among the folks of ACTP I know.
What is love actually? Well, this is more like a cliché than a question instead.
You can say love is a result of hormone reaction, in some way, you could say that love is a way of survival because it helps the productions of offspring, or you could say
Love is romance. How easy. Or you could say…
Love is an overused cliché, Or you could say
Love is the willingness to sacrifice for each other, the willingness to protect someone you cared and loved or…
Love is something that completes an incomplete individual, though I don’t really get it.
Love is just a feeling that surges out of nowhere. Like a struck of cupid arrow
You must be thinking that something’s wrong with me that I come out with such a thing which I consider as “JK won’t write something like this”.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not in love, neither do I craved for a love, or what so ever you may think. Well, I could say that I wrote this out in a whim. And recently I found with a new yet interesting definition of what love is.
Love is the ability of seeing through your partner’s weakness and mistakes, and yet still tolerate and received it open heartedly. (I translated it from Chinese sentence, so don’t blame on my translation.)
Whatever definition of what love is, please know that love, like any opportunities in this world, will miss if you don’t appreciate it and make your move. And no amount of disappointments and tears will change that.
For someone I know which I don’t want to disclose his name (though I think you guys should have idea who he is), I got a piece of advice.
There are two things in this world that people feared most, Death and humiliation. It is foolish to overcome Death. However, if you have the courage to overcome your feeling of humiliation and embarrassment, regardless on whether you lose or win, you had rose to become a better person in the world.
Of course I didn’t say that. I get this lie from an anime and again it was a translation of Chinese sentence again.
Hope that it will solve your dilemma folks, and maybe others as well (or maybe me as well.)
And free to correct me if I am wrong. I am open to any comments, regardless on everything.
As I say, I am a traveler of Discovery
